Hazelwood Local partnered with Hazelwood Cafe on a series of intimate events to test out event concepts in the neighborhood’s newest local business. On February 9th, community members joined us for a Singles Mingle, where they met new friends and potential romantic interests. Participants were powered by Sips Mobile Bar Co. and local baker Mami’s Bakes. On March 9th, we partnered with Commonplace Coffee to deliver an at-home coffee workshop and lesson on the history of African coffee beans. Event participants took home free Commonplace beans and a guide with reminders for how to make the perfect pour over beverage.
