The 4800 Gateway

A sculptural art piece called Crossing Beacon, designed, fabricated, and installed by Ben Grubb, wrapping the second and third floor exterior walls of 4800 Second Avenue. Installed at the former home of a beloved neighborhood restaurant, and at a historic building along the railroad tracks at the entrance to Hazelwood Green (and former J&L Steel Mill), Crossing Beacon serves as a welcome to the historic business district at the nexus of Hazelwood Green and the historic Second Avenue Corridor.
