On Saturday, December 9th Hazelwood Local welcomed the community to Community Kitchen to celebrate the newly installed Crossing Beacon at The 4800 Gateway. The event kicked off with remarks from project partners and the artist, Ben Grubb, before the group set off down the street to observe the artwork with Ben. Following the walk, participants enjoyed light refreshments and craft activities, provided by AR Workshop and Arts Excursions Unlimited.
