Hazelwood Local, in collaboration with Row House Cinema, wrapped up their Movie Night on the Lawn series with a screening of The Sandlot. Staying true to the film’s sports theme, attendees participated in a lively Pitch to Plunge dunk tank activity before the movie began. Iceburgh, the Pittsburgh Penguins' mascot, joined the fun by interacting with the crowd, posing for photos, and passing balls to the pitchers. The dunk tank featured community members, many of whom were volunteers from partner organizations or nominees from Hazelwood’s social channels. The Pittsburgh Hounds brought their beagles, making the event especially enjoyable for families and dog lovers. Guests also savored free popcorn, courtesy of Row House Cinema, and indulged in a variety of food and drinks from vendors like Revival Chili, Community Kitchen, HazelGrove Brewery, and Hazelwood Cafe.
