Join us for the August Wilson African American Cultural Center and Hazelwood Local collaborative event, S.T.E.A.M. On the Green on October 5th from 3-8pm at Hazelwood Green. This exciting carnival community day brings together science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in a fun and interactive environment for all ages.
We will have:
Hands-On Workshops that include activities where you can build robots, create art, and conduct fun science experiments. Our workshops cater to various age groups, ensuring everyone can participate and learn.
Families will be able to explore innovative displays that showcase local STEAM projects and initiatives. Meet local scientists, engineers, artists, and educators who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise.
Circus performances throughout the day celebrating the wonders of space exploration.
Live demonstrations and entertainment that highlight the wonders of STEAM.
Family-Friendly activities that include face painting, mobile gaming unit and large carnival rides.
