The Greater Hazelwood Youth Policy and Leadership Council

GHYPLC is grounded in a series of educational workshops and activities aimed at fostering fellowship amongst the youth. The educational workshops are a multi-faceted program that encapsulates dynamic workshops and student discussion groups. The students will be offered a wide range of programs, including STEAM-related content and financial empowerment.

Open to youth ages 13-18, and students will receive a weekly stipend for participation. In collaboration with POORLAW & Digital Bridges Pittsburgh, the Greater Hazelwood Youth Sports and Mentoring Organization will provide a range of educational programming and activities, including civic leadership, the law, field trips to historically and culturally significant locations, entrepreneurship, and career preparedness training, & opportunities for community leadership.
