Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Hazelwood

Founded in 1899, the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Hazelwood has been a part of the Hazelwood community for a long time. Our mission is to engage our community through literacy and learning. Through our library, the people of our region will develop the literacies and connections that support individual achievement and strengthen the power of community. We share a community space with Greater Hazelwood Family Center, feature local art by Homestead artist David Lewis and provide unique reading programs like Reading Buddies from Hazelwood Reads Together.
